MK4 for PEPSI 126710BLRO
I think I might be color blind, but for heaven’s sake tell me how many of you think this looks like a Pepsi or a coke ?
P.s. all credit for the photos is to the guy that posted this on classified (panu1000 I think)...I personally prefer the brighter color scheme and just couldn’t believe my eyes, it’s pitch black. I think this bezel might be even darker than the MKIII one Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

This is off topic, but as the new owner of the pictured Coke, I can't look at a ceramic GMT the same way anymore after seeing them side by side on this thread. It's a completely different watch. Bigger, more robust yes, but shinier like a piece of jewelry, not a tool. Now that is not a bad thing, just different. I own a ceramic black black black, just a complexity different watch. Never realized this until I owned them both. I don't mean to hijack the thread, so no need to comment, but just needed to share. |

It’s why I have alternated between 5 and 6 digit references in my collection. I feel this way about 5 vs 6 across the board (Daytona, Explorer II, Submariner, and GMT). |

In this case, I’d attribute the colors to lighting in those particular photos.

Wow, that sure does look like a Coke! That's quite a trick of the light or perhaps something with the camera settings. Well at least we have an idea what a Coke will look like (maybe next Baselworld?). Cheers!

There should be a sub forum of just blro posts involving mks, and then there should be an option to hide it lol

I would love to buy a BLRO, but don’t think I can justify the price this guy’s asking for. I was just surprised it resembled the coke bezel in some way. As for your throat- wish you better, keep sipping tea with ginger and lemon/honey and you’ll be just fine bro Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Looks good to me. The colors being off definitely is due to the lighting here. The BLRO can look downright "ugly" in the incorrect lighting. If you're a bit nervous, I would ask him to take a picture for you outside in the direct sunlight. You will be able to then see the real colors!

It’s easy for the colors to look off when the lights are yellow.

Looks like a Mk3 in poor lighting. It's probably extra blue from being flipped so soon.

The BLRO has never been a easy watch to photograph. The hue is all over the place. That’s a lot of what scares those that haven’t actually seen one in the flesh.
The earlier bezels in real life do look purple/pinkish to me. Not a fan but the later darker looking colors look more right to me as a modern interpretation of the classic Pepsi. As mentioned in earlier thread layering the colors over a blue bezel is the fly in the ointment with only the BLRO model as all other ceramic bezels have a black base color that makes the colors “pop’” in a traditional hue. The BLRO is what it is and if you like the look then go for it. Price point and time lines are a personal choice. |

No matter what lighting mine is in, it’s never as dark as this version posted by OP. From the looks of it, light reflecting off the bezel, it should be bluer....
Here is mine in shade with no overhead lighting.... still blue: Note: mine is a mark 2 |
