You’ve possibly seen this?

https://www.watchpro.com/corders-col...hin-two-years/

As the title says. So only another 2 years to wait?

No-one but Rolex knows. I'd much rather have AD's full of watches than the current situation. I don't need my watches to go up in value.

One sentence of cagey speculation wrapped up in an otherwise meaningless monologue, which might as well be discussing the weather.

Can't remember the last time he saw a Daytona advertised? I can. Today. On the back cover of my copy of Car magazine.

Who are these bloody people?

I could see a lot of the speculators and people who are just riding the hype wave fade away by that time. Or maybe it'll keep getting worse. Who knows.

Rolex can only control supply, the market controls demand and demand can whipsaw - anybody playing pokeman go or shopping at Abercrombie and fitch?

Guy says he doesn't remember the last time a sports model was advertised: well apparently doesn't get any travel, men's fashion or car magazines.

"because it must" ???

Lots of speculation in that article. I just say patience is the answer.

Watchpro hasn't exactly been an example of rigorous journalism. They often write stuff that makes me wonder "um.. could you prove that?"

Back in the day when media was limited to printed publications, one could generally assume a certain level of integrity and journalistic values.

Now that anyone with a computer can "publish" on the Internet, anyone with a pulse can knock out 1000 words of nonsense and put it out there with no discernable justification.

Kind of like this post. LOL

No one including Rolex don't even know.

Do you think Rolex knew what we are going through was going to happen? No.
