We had one named Maggie. She passed away about ten years ago. Marley and Maggie look a lot alike. Bassets are great dogs.

His real name is Spike but most of the aforementioned briefly knew him as

It started out as Buddy, but now the family just calls him Dumb Dog. In the picture you see the shock collar and I got involved a few months ago and gave ole' Buddy some Bubba training. Now, no shock collar, heels when I take him for walks, and he understands hand signals. One good thing is that since he can't hear things like thunder or gunshots the noise does not bother him.

He has become my dog by default and goes most places with me. Go figure. Yea, and I still have to clean up the poop!
