This is what I get for trading my 16710
GMT is back with a vengeance !
The original supercase, ceramic bezel Rolex. That's right, I got myself the 50th anniversary 116718 green dial. It is phenomenal! |

You won’t regret it. Mind if I asked what you snagged it for ?

Beautiful, beautiful watch. Never quite understand how this didn't get the recognition that it deserved. I like it more than the Green Dial Daytona, and I own one!

Yeah, the green GMT has really been growing on me. It's a very cool reference.

Future and present classic. One of if not the best ceramics to ever be produced.

Beautiful watch. So you traded a 16710 + cash I presume?

Congrats. But I may be in the minority here in that I would not have given up a 16710 for it-even as an even swap. The 16710 is iconic and the gold gmt an altogether different piece.

If I had unlimited funds, I’d add this one to the stable. To me, it’s similar in appeal as the YG/green dial Daytona, which I have on order. It’s a real beauty and definitely a classic for now and in the future! Nice goin!

Thanks buds. I'm loving this beauty. It showed up yesterday after a snafu in the mail (went in the wrong direction, got delayed over the vet day weekend.. talk about nerve wracking). All good now though 👍
I've been eyeing this one for years and I finally got off my butt and got one (you know, before John Mayer tweets it or something like that) I didn't trade straight up obviously. In fact I've recently flipped 4 out of my collection and got two back. This being the heavy one |
