Would like your thoughts on these two watches
Putting brand loyalty/preference aside and viewing strictly from a sizing perspective, would you say the 15400 or the DJ41 is a better looking fit on my wrist?

Not a fan of non sport Rolex watches so would have to go with the one on the right.

Sizewise they look very similar on you, don't make that the issue so buy which is best to you.

+1, but I bet you would get a different answer in the Rolex discussions.

In terms of fit, the Rolex. But not a lot in it, so pick whichever you prefer.

This particular Rolex model looks best of the two for fit and overall look. IMHO it also goes better with your ink. The AP black dial is a dramatic look, which is nice, but overall it doesn’t “fit” like the Rolex on your particular wrist. All that said, you really should determine which one you would enjoy wearing more because nobody’s opinion should count more than your own.

For a rolex, the one on the left. For AP, get a ROC.
So get two. |

The RO wears a little bigger but both look good.
BIG difference in price though |

Thanks for the thoughts guys!
The DJ41 bracelet is more comfy on the wrist and the lugs hug more closesly but I do like the AP dial and bezel better. I kind of thought the AP lugs were a bit long to sit well on my wrist. I was considering selling the 15400 and waiting/hoping AP would release a 40mm RO but I think I'll just hang onto it. |

Both look great, but the 15400 is much more special than the the DJ. I would also argue that the AP dresses up better and, ironically, dresses down better than the DJ

I’m a die hard AP enthusiast but the DJ seems to look nicer here. I know I’m going against the grain here. If it was a ROO on the other hand...

The AP looks big on you. The DJ looks great. I had the 15400 white dial and I currently have the DJ41 blue/jubilee/fluted. The 15400 was big for my 7 inch wrist. I like my DJ much better than I did the AP. The look and the fit is better for me.

AP looks well proportioned to your wrist; Both wear well on you.

Rolex is what you need if you have nothing;
Then after you have a Rolex go for AP. Its not right to have an AP without Rolex. Rolex is the introduction, its the first sentence in horology AP Lange Vacheron Patek RM are the projections; where are you heading, the past or the future, are you busy about racing to make more billions dollars of money in latest technology ; investment in emerging and exotic financial instruments ; bit coins ; you are concerned if the audience look at you and you are not minted; you want watch that is hot , price sky rocketing to the stars and every one know that or are you content with hard works and everything you have made slowly ; a few hundred millions over the past 30 years and sitting on money working for you ; now you have less than 20 years to enjoy sun shine and boobs ; and just waiting for the last call. You don’t care if everyone thinks you are wearing old fashion looking watches (like the 1518) - if the watch price will be half in value or double in value when the last call come in. |

I have both the DJ 41 blue dial and RO white dial and love them both. I'd be hard pressed to choose between them. My RO feels like I'm wearing something special, but of course it cost a fair bit more. The blue dialed DJ changes colors depending on the light and is quite lovely. No wrong choice there mate. Some rant about the service fees on the AP. Others say the DJ is just a real watch wannabe. Two fine watches. Grab the one that sings to you.
