All Rolex Collection?

Does anyone out there have an all or almost all Rolex collection?

I have a 4 piece combo meal deal all Rolex and am looking to add another piece. As much as I want to diversify, I find myself gravitating back to the Crown.

I actually had an AP Royal Oak 15400 black dial last year but got rid of it when the chance came to pick up a ceramic white dial Daytona at retail. I found the AP too delicate to wear and was constantly paranoid about scratching it.

How do you guys deal with other WIS who accuse you of being a "rolex fanboy"? Yet these same individuals tout their 37mm ultra dress pieces.

To each their own, but I think I will stick to the crown for now.

I’ve migrated to virtually all Rolex as well. Mainly, because I got sick of buying other stuff that I couldn’t sell and when I did sell, got slaughtered.

I think if you want a nice dress watch, on a strap, go non-Rolex.

My stainless collection is at 6 pieces and will stay that way.

If a new one is inbound one has to go - fortunately I'm pleased with where it is today:

- 16610 project sub
- 214270 project explorer
- Omega 2254 project
- CWC 1983 MKII
- CWC 1980 MKII
- MKII Vantage

I'd love to have a 16800 matte dial and a 5513 matte dial in the collection but the cost of entry is prohibitive at this stage for a non EDC piece.

ETA: I'm a fan of tool / non flashy pieces, the mods to both Rolex models were done to further that taste.

Any suggestions? JLC, Patek, Dare I say Cartier?

Lange or Vacheron. JLC if you’re looking to spend less.

A lot of JLC looks good to me, also you can order straight from the website which is a nice change of pace from “building a relationship”

Good points. Though an Omega Speedy is a nice addition to any collection imo

I don't have to deal with anybody about anything. I buy and wear what I like...which happens to be mainly Rolex watches.

High horology and the holy trinity don't excite me much. What does excite me is looking down at my wrist and taking pleasure in what's there.

If we count Tudor, I'm 5/8 right now.

I wouldn't mind going the AP route but like the OP said, I think I'd be too afraid to scratch it up to wear it, so I've held off.

With the Snowflake, Hulk and 16710, I'm kind of done with Rolex sport watches for my collection. I just don't see the need / room to add another. Would I love another PM piece to go along with the DD40? Absolutely, but that's not happening anytime soon (if ever) with 2 young kiddos and thoughts on their college and the love for travel and...you get the picture :-)

I bought alot of other brands at first and was actively avoiding Rolex back then and even dabbled with Panerai that was very en vogue, finally I bought my first Rolex, joined this forum and then bought them almost exclusively in the traditional enabling TRF way, but in the last couple of years I have diversified again, and bought a range of different brands and indeed some of the old watches I had back in the day.

I'm a card carrying badge wearing fan boy and proud of it.
I could be persuaded to go to MB&F with the right lottery numbers.
I prefer my watches tough, reliable and relatively inexpensive to service. For me if you exclude the Seiko's and some other sentimental items I'm 100% Rolex.

6/16 currently. Started with a varied kind of collection then decided about 3 years ago to concentrate solely on Rolex. Once i knock a couple more off of my hit list, ill be moving on to a few other pieces i love and then probably waiting for some patek and AP stuff. Maybe. Who knows!

All Rolex Collection?

I tried IWC and Omega. I liked them but after a while I noticed I kept reaching for the Tudor, Seiko, & Rolex and never really wore the others.

Final collection will be majority Rolex family with 3 Rolex, 3 Tudor, 2 Seiko, 1 Longines or Lange, 1 AP

With Tudor I’m 2/7. Both my BLNR and Tudor GMT are relatively new and I’ve decided I’m going to sell the others (at a loss no doubt) and looking only collect Rolex for now. Not sure why it took so long to come around. There are some truly admirable collections to be seen in this forum - only fuels the desire to want the next one.

I've got some incidental watches which I don't consider part of my collection as such other than those I've got an all Rolex collection of three watches. That suits me just fine. I had Omega, Breitling, and TAG Heuer as well but they're all gone now and not missed.

All Rolex Collection?

I have 7 Rolex out of 10 watches. The other are Jaeger-LeCoultre, IWC and Nomos.
