If I knew you were coming...
I'd have baked a cake!
Oh wait, I did! Made this for my brother, it was his birthday at the weekend. Jim's Very Berry Cake Standard victoria sponge with mascarpone and cream filling with homemade mixed berry jam and a mascarpone and cream topping with huge Spanish strawberries. It was great!!!!!!!! J |

Nice one with the cake, although cooking in the all together can bring its own hazards. Don't dangle to close or else things tend to get burnt Lisa, There is a stranger in town! (and they don't come much stranger!) You want to be careful whats been in the filling! Si |

Geez HalfBaked76, first it was you rambling on about some metrosexual cologne (I always took you for a scratch and sniff kind of guy) then you asked if I was coming and showed a picture with swollen red things on top of a cake. Well there goes the PG-13 rating! Guess the cake is a Cumquat Cake?
It does look good and it seems you and Si are vying for second place ole' chaps. |
