Basel 2020 Predictions

1. Submariner line receives new movement....LVc and Bluesy are retired and not replaced with anything until a subsequent Basel, leaving just 126610LN, 124060, Smurf, and full YG with blue dial

2. Milguass is either retired or updated—new movement, new anti-magnetic capabilities, etc.

3. Return of the GMT LN but on jubilee...126710LN

4. Some new DJ and OP color schemes

Disclaimer: I am no Oracle, but I know for certain that: none of these might happen, all of these might happen, or some of these might happen haha

There will be watches. Of some type and color introduced.

Reactions will range from groans on this forum that “Rolex just doesn’t listen” to unbridled speculation on certain models.

In other words same as every year.

All this talk of people on here being unable to get hot models. What are you all doing? Surely someone who is an active member of a Rolex forum has an established relationship with an AD? If so, you should be receiving these models.

And less lines of blurb. Instead of

Submariner
1000ft = 300m
Superlative Chronometer
Officially Certified

Just have

Submariner
1000ft = 300m

Four lines looks a right pigs ear and we all know they’re all CSOC these days.

You and me both. I refuse to pay secondary market prices for the LV. I will just have to live with a broken heart.

Would be cool having the DD40 with annual calendar movement at least. Saw some pics where month was hidden and only shown in date window when pulling out crown. That and a good looking invisible micro-adjustment for president bracelet would be peeerfect.

I would bet on a sub with new movement. Real question is if Rolex will update the case / dial.

Either way, whatever happens, I'm excited!!

How about a navy blue SD43? That would be a killer watch.
