What kind of car is this?

I was in NYC about 10 days ago and I saw this car parked on Central Park South.
I’m sure I’ve seen this model before but, for the life of me, I can’t identify it.
Anyone know what it is?
TIA!

That’s it. Bas, aka SearChart, also confirmed it.
Very unusual car.
Thanks Randy

How odd in that it is not attractive and the ratios are off but I am drawn to it.

Lord I pray one never falls in my lap. I'd have to have it and while I want it. I don't.

Winner, winner!
By brother who sold exotics 30+ years ago drove one for a bit.
It’s amazing what progress has been made in auto tech and luxury over just the last 20 years.

It was Aston’s odd and not very successful attempt at a luxury saloon. Too much electric wizardry that never worked.

I don't know how big the parking spaces are in NYC but I'm guessing it is filling the one it's in. The Audi is hoping the Aston is going to leave before him.
Do they book you in NYC for hanging the front of your car over the front line of the parking space?

One of the worst automobiles ever made, or at least a tie with the Maserati Biturbo. Definitely a dark mark for Aston.

Have been in many of them and given there were only 660 odd made in 20 years, tells you they are an acquired taste. They are amazing cars, they are wider and much longer than an s-class Mercedes and about 18inches lower. One guy in England owns about 32 (up from the video) of them in the largest private car collection in the UK.

You’ve witnessed a rare thing, an Aero3s . Similar in many ways to the fantastic T.rex, the Aero3s nicely decked out goes for around $60,000USD. Reverse trikes like (time for buying) this have some terrific traits, being the best of both worlds for power-to-weight and stability between a motorcycle and a car.
