How does this look?

How does the brown leather strap look on my sub?

Need some opinions.

Thanks

Not bad, but it's too chunky on the underside...

Honestly.....no one would wear a leather strap on a diver except on a Panerai.

Looks like it could be a fun change. That strap looks pretty thick though. Might be a little too thick on the clasp side.

This is my thought exactly. The color isn't bad, but I would go lighter. And, too much stitching for my taste.

What’s going on near the clasp? Did it eat another strap? Does it have a gland problem?

I have tried few versions on the sub and nato works the best over leather. In addition curved bars recommended for the leather straps since the case edges are too sharp and shaves the strap.

I got mine from bulang and sons.

I think the Sub looks on everything, it's incredible versatile it is but Nato really a match for this watch.

I think the nylon nato works best

Not feeling it, but it may look better in person. Plus, really comes down to what you like. Variety is the spice of life. ;-)

The leather needs to be dark chocolate brown for the balanced retro diver look.

That camel hide is too bright and overpowers the watch.

It’s ok. Honestly I don’t mind straps on vintage subs but on the modern sub I prefer the bracelet.

Reminds me of a Sinn 104. Ok for Sinn. But it's a Sin on a Sub

As said modern Subs have such an outstanding Bracelet why bother. If anything a good rubber strap curved to fit case is logical for a diver and they look good

Personally I don’t like leather on divers

Have you thought of trying a rubber strap? That I love and currently have on my Sub

I’m always kind of surprised with these “what do you think threads”. Honestly if you like it, I say it’s all good. Enjoy your watch

I prefer leather on a vintage sub. Also that one is much too bulky near the buckle.

But if you like it, then let it ride!

I'm mixed. I really love the look when it works, like in Exador's photo. Yours doesn't seem to pull it off.....too much stitching.

I tried it as well, and wasn't thrilled with how it turned out for mine either -
