Nice everyday watch but I doubt it’s going to be massive

Maybe as a fad, but I don't think that design will stand the test of time. Rolex designs are more iconic, this is pretty forgettable.

I agree that is might be popular but not much of a mark-up on it. Nice to have if you like it. I said "No" to my Black Rose and let it go. I won't chase the next of anything!!!

Do some searches from a member named polarbear... he was pumping that watch up for over a year.

Yep there was a short sharp spike where these were selling for >$6k and then they settled back into $3.5-4k territory.

Already stated but there was a bit of a run up in price when they were first discontinued but that blip was over in a few months.

I like my BBblue eta far more than the inhouse version that I replaced it for, mostly due to its lack of bulk and faux rivet bracelet. The forced patina i could have lived with as i thought it was a nice touch with the red bezel version that I had. Wherever the value goes has no bearing to me, it's a keeper either way.

I love wearing mine, if it becomes a collectors item that would be a great plus.
