Thoughts on this Buckley dial

I've become very intrigued in this watch. I don't know a lot about vintage Rolex and in wondering your thoughts on its condition and value. The bracelet is a more modern one than the 1979 dated watch.

Thanks in advance!!

You should post the original images instead of low quality screenshots from your phone.

The idea is to get feedback from those other than the seller. Thanks!

Thoughts on this Buckley dial

The value is in the middle of other yellow/custard Buckley dialed 16013’s.

But each one offered has some little different matter that’s not comparable.

For example this one has no B&P, no documented service and a replacement bracelet that is fairly stretched already.

About what I’d see in a pawn shop. If you’re just going to wear it and move it onward then $500 less might be fair.

If it was for long term ownership, I’d pass - choose one with box and papers with the original bracelet. And if it had recently been to the RSC, more better. But expect to pay about $1,000 more for all of that within the deal.

I’m probably alone here , but I have no love for these (poorly-named and awful-looking) watches.

They look like grandfather clock dials on your wrist.

I don't love it in General, but I happen to think it looks great on this color dial.

The black hands and matching black numerals look fantastic.

I don't typically love the fluted bezel (heresy, I know, I know), but I gotta say, the color of the dial, the roman numerals, the affixed crown, the sharp/understated hands, and the TT of this all make for a really nice looking watch. Wish I could speak intelligently on the price, but I don't know enough to offer any guidance.

Looks good and I, personally, like it.
Dial is ok, case is ok......would be good to check the stretch on the bracelet. ask for a side photo of the watch held up in the air by the head. you know what I mean.

This model looks very nice on a good quality leather strap, as well.

Price wise, have a look at other similar watches that are up for sale or sold recently.

Current market will run you about low $3k? Based on the classified here and eBay listings

Well, it is up to you now to decide if you are happy with it or not.
The watch is ok imo. No red flags.
Bracelet is a bit stretched, especially being a newer replacement, as you mentioned

It's a 16013, probably the original bracelet, very nice. :)
