Question about desk clocks

Hello,

Out of curiosity, might anyone know who makes (or made at some point) fine desk clocks? Thanks so much!

I guess it depends on your budget and also your definition of fine. I do believe JLC makes one though.

JLC Atmos is awesome. I’d like to acquire one at some point.

I really appreciate the suggestions. This is super helpful, as I just had no idea where to start. I like the JLC idea.

I have an JLC Atmos that is awaiting service. It is over 50 yrs old, and has been serviced twice previously. ($1000). I also have a very nice Seth Thomas, (German Movement) Ships Clock. I found the Ships Clock at a lower tier "Antique Shop" and paid $58 for it with a key. It is chromed nickle, and is flawless. The ships bells and understanding what time it is from the bells is great fun.
