Yes. Absolutely. A day and age before buyers became obsessed with valuation. Scratches. Before buyers wanted to give their watches comic book nicknames.

A day and age when Rolex was, as it’s own literature called it; a good watch.

No bs. No dumb nicknames. Just a nicely made. Accurate tool for telling time.

Had a 6649 Precision and enjoyed it. I could easily live with it as an only watch even with the absence of self winding. If you like it then the 34mm is a great size and really comfortable!!! To me even without the auto wind it is the essential Rolex!!!
