AD Tudor Invetory
So I have been in 3 different Tudor AD in the past 2 weeks. I am slowly seeing some of the hard to get pieces from this brand in cases. I found a dealer who had 2 BB58's last week. Today, I went to one dealer who had the P01 in stock and then went to a second and believe it or not, they had 2 BB GMT's in the case! I can not believe I have been able to find these all hear in the past 2 weeks. Makes me wonder if the hype is going down or if they have got their "Lists" filled. I could not believe it when I saw the Tudor Pepsi's in the case...crazy! 1 was a dealer in Idaho and today were both in San Francisco.....there you go all. Maybe the bubble will burst with these sooner than later.....

In Denmark the ones in the display is not for sale in general - already “sold” if you ask :)

I went to 2 ADs in Norcal and the Tudor cases were as you described- full and with desirable pieces. The Rolex cases... not a single steel sport watch in either :/

AD Tudor Invetory
Have seen BB GMT and BB 58 both in bracelets and NATO in various ADs in town since October 2019. In one AD, the SA didn’t even know the display case had a BB 58 until I pointed it out I doubt they last more than a few days considering the high volume traffic that pass through.

I totally believe it. I also totally believe that SS Rolex watches will be on display and available for purchase in the not too distant future.
On a sad note, speculators who have been hoarding desirable watches may have to take a loss. |

Don’t hold your breath on seeing any excess SS Rolex sport models unless there is a global economic issue. Barring something very bad, it isn’t going to happen. Demand worldwide is far outpacing supply and that’s not going to change anytime soon.

I whole-heartedly agree. Anyone waiting for SS subs, gmts etc to appear regularly in AD cases will be waiting a long time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Tudors have eased up on scarcity. I picked up my BB58 last August. It's become my most frequently worn watch...it's great!

Walked into an AD in Times Square HK and they had Tudor GMT on leather strap $HK28,000 ($US3600) and they had the bracelet model too. Pretty much anything I asked about was available except for Rolex.
The AD insisted that Tudor had solved their date wheel problems fully. Not sure about that based on stories here. |

I stopped into two ADs in the last that week (S.E. MI) that are Tudor ADs as well. A lot of models were on display, no 1926 yet but I did see one P01. As far as GMTs and BB58s there were none to be found and both SAs at each store claimed they are receiving them but the list is long with many customers paying in full.

What bubble? The only thing bursting is my enthusiasm wearing a BB GMT.

Yup! Appears to be an increasingly common occurrence... I was at two ADs last week who both had FOUR GMTs in a variation of straps, both had a P01, a couple of the new TT chronographs.. and one had a BB58 on a leather strap.

Doesn't this feel timely though? Especially if you think about the business timeline of it.
Baselworld happens in spring. The brands rides out the hype all summer/autumn/winter then things slowly begin to die down as people have gotten their hands on the "cool Basel release". We're now in the last business quarter before the next releases. Lastly, given the success of the BB58, the BBGMT, and the latest slate grey BBBronze... I'm under the impression that the trajectory of Tudor's brand image is upward. If they haven't already, enthusiasts would be wise to begin creating a Tudor AD relationship much like they do with Rolex. I can't help but get the feeling that Tudor is one movie appearance away from being a regular "waitlist brand" even if they don't have the Rolex/AP prestige. |

Its all about demand....if those Tudors were in higher demand they wouldn’t be sitting in the cases...
