Has anyone been allocated 2020 pieces?

Was told that early Jan is the time to contact AP for this year’s allocations. I have contacted my AP salesperson and I am waiting to hear back. Just wanted to know if anyone has already been allocated any pieces for 2020?

I just put down a deposit at a Boutique for a 15202. I’m told it may take 3-6 months.

So how does that work? You choose which one you want and your Boutique allocates it to you when the next one arrives, i.e. you are next in their queue? or can you choose which one you want and then they'll get it for you when you want it?

Either scenario is nice.

No they aren't.

Man U is a shortening of Manchester United, my football team. The Vikings, my other football team, are on one tho.

Unfortunately I'm in NYC so I would say you would at least need 3-5 purchases under your belt to even be considered for one. They're willing to get me in line for a black or gray 15500 but they won't agree to putting me on the list for the blue dial. Maybe after I buy a Roo and PM they'll consider it sucks being a 28 year old trying to compete with rich people in their 40s+.

Why not be grateful that you are 28 and can afford an AP? There are many people in their 40’s+ that can not.

Honestly it’s way easier to have significant disposable income at 28 than it is in your 40’s when you’re more likely to have a family etc.

As a thirty-one year old that just bought a ceramic perpetual calendar, I can attest to this hypothesis lol

Actually I do have a family I got married at 21 and divorced at 27. I have my son who is 3 years old. I do agree having a family is big expenses. My divorce took a huge chunk out of my assets. The bright side is after kicking my ex wife out of my life my expenses have gone down considerably .

Sorry to hear that, a friend of mine has just gone through a divorce, his ex took 60% of everything and made him feel like she was doing him a favour. Once she received the settlement she moved in with the guy that she’d denied having an affair with. Nasty.

I married at 20 and divorced at 27, but I got lucky, no kids.

I do find it silly that location has a huge impact on this.

Boutiques in such locales should simply get more allocations to account for it.

But alright. So be it.

We just had a price increase so it's $20,400 plus sales tax will run you roughly $22,100

I agree. In NY you have no shortage of people with tons of expendable cash as well as tourists with deep pockets. Unfortunately such is the nature of the beast. the VIPs pretty much can get whatever they please. At the end of the day they're a business so for me there is no hard feelings. I always give priority to my best customers even though my businesses arent retail based businesses. I might not like their practice but can definitely understand it.

It's possible that we may start hearing news about new 2020 releases soon. I believe there's a gathering this weekend where AP are showing their new wares internally. I maybe wrong, just an inference that I'm making and possibly jumping to a wrong conclusion, but in the interest of doing my duty as an interneter I thought I'd put it out there.
