The Battle of Platinum Daytona

Both are platinum daytona. Which one do you like more and better looking? (forget resale value in this poll).

116506-PLT (no baguette)

116506-LN (baguette index)

Baguettes, Rolex does that beautiful and in real life it doesn't look like bling ed out. Very refined.
The normal indices I don' 't like the pointed dial end. Not sharp defined.

I'm in the no baguette camp.

Does anyone happen to know the current UK RRP of the 116506 PLT?

If the brown-ringed sub-dials were available WITH the baguettes - that would be my choice

The Battle of Platinum Daytona

I had the cheap one for a time.

But when I saw Dr. Tom’s pricier icy one, I fell in love with that sort of mono-colored sparkly one.

One day, if I never see my old one recovered, I might take the plunge for the diamond dialed Platona.

My favorite Rolex!!! A week in review...love the one you're with... Seriously, I like the little lume I've got; considered upgrading to the baguettes but decided to save my money. I believe the diamond dial is more legible as far as the sub-dials are concerned. The upgrade is about $7K and is always an option.

Sage words.

Thought I think sub markers plus baguette markers would be hot.

I do like the baguettes but I'd choose the standard PT. the brown chapter rings give a nice contrast.

They both look fabulous but if budget isn’t an issue then absolutely 100% go with the baguettes. They fit that dial perfectly.

I’m a guy that absolutely hates iced out watches but baguettes as the dial markers in my opinion are completely different. I have the black dial DD with baguettes. I think that’s magnificent looking.

I can read to dial on the lume version better, so that would be my choice.

If you are going big why not go all the way with diamonds.

I think of the two, I like the regular index and the brown sub dials. It ties in the watch better for my tastes.
