2020 Incoming!

The FedEx man brought me something special, my first brand new PM purchase as well as my first purchase of 2020. This reference has really grown on me, and the AD offered it to me at the 2019 price (paid for December 28 2019, received Yesterday as Rolex was closed and they had to order a smaller strap for my apparently tiny wrist.

This is the 116655, and IMO is one of the most subtle and nuanced colored gold pieces out there. I love how the rose gold plays off the matte dial and black oyster flex.

Anyone else a fan of this reference? Hope everyone has a great Sunday!

Nope, that’s the 126655, but she fits great and the more attractive clasp IMO still has three micro adjustments.

Yes, I am a big fan of that reference, strap is extremely comfortable and I like the RG better than the WG YM42. I considered purchasing it, but then a TT Daytona black dial 116503 popped up and I had to get it instead (it was first on my list, and at the time, had NO IDEA about the craze of the different references. I am still a newbie).

Beautiful & extremely underrated.

I once tried one on in my AD & really liked it although it did appear to wear quite small on my 71/4” wrist.

If you have a smaller wrist I’m guessing it feels/looks pretty much perfect.

Enjoy

Thanks Max! Yeah, if you have large wrists I can see how this would wear smaller for you. Mine are pretty small, and I’ve found 39-40mm to be the sweet spot for me. I have an Exp 2 and sometimes I feel like it’s too big on me, though love the reference.
