First Post - New Sub!
Picked this up about 1 month ago after waiting ~3 months from the AD... Have wanted a Sub since I can remember, and after alot of though, i was set on a ND. Finally was able to make that dream come true. Cant stop wearing it.

Congrats! I’ve obtained the same model few days ago. Been hunting for it few years.
For some reason, the watch is not comfortable on my wrist. Maybe it’s due to very high expectations. Or maybe bracelet sizing issues, can’t figure out. I took out one link from 6 side. How does yours feel? Are you happy with it? |

Congratulations!
I passed on a Submariner like yours about a month ago from a Rolex Boutique on Bristol Street in Costa Mesa. If that’s where you got it, perhaps you were next on the list! (After leaving my info for the 114060 some months before, I decided on a 14060M instead.) Regardless, I understand your joy and excitement! Michael

Congrats on your new watch! I myself acquired a pre-owned 116610LN date today. I'm excited to get to know it better and I've wanted one for a good period of time. Aesthetically it's incredibly pleasing to look at and it feels great on the wrist and in the hand. Solid built.
One thing that stood out when I compared it to my Breitling SuperOcean 44 Special, is how different the crystal is when comparing the watches side by side. The SuperOcean is easy to read no matter what light you put it up against with barely any reflection, whereas the Sub is a little harder to read. Can anyone explain why that is? I'm new to the world of watches so pardon my ignorance. Is this a simple matter of "quality" and/or related to how water resistent the piece is? |

On a related note, I have been reading that AR coatings are notorious for tiny scratches. Hows your experience with the Breitling? How long have you owned it and do you see formation of tiny scratches on the crystal easily? |
