Question on 5512 submariner
Would like to know if jubilee bracelet was an option on this model. Also what years was it available?

You’ll have a better chance of an answer by posting in the vintage section.

If put on my a dealer when new at point of sale. The consumer stepping up and paying a premium for a chronometer version of the 5513 would likely have preferred the more purposeful (for diving) oyster bracelet.
But to each their own! |

The Sub 5512, great reference.
First Sub to have the crown guards, released in ~1959 into the mid 70's. Early 60's, 4 liners with pointed crown guards are the hot ones. Jubilee wasn't an "option", but back then a Dealer would put any bracelet or strap that you wanted on your watch.

Not a factory option, but could be a local/AD option. Things were different back in the day, before the Rolex Police stepped in.

In any event, it’s an awesome combo (and yes, it kills me that I chose to sell this)

Sold my 5512 too about five years ago to fund another piece (a 1680 Red). It had a great case and a perfect patina dial. I know you're not supposed to have regrets, but...

I absolutely love my 14060M but a Submariner like this would be the ultimate, end all, top of the mountain, supreme, unrivaled watch!!! Michael
