Stainless still Sub discontinued?
I have read a bunch of things online regarding the slight almost concerning possibility the SS subs would be discontinued.
Does this information proceed? |

I would not expect that to happen in our lifetime.

Now, what might happen is the 3130/3135 movement may be replaced with the latest 32xx version

Did you read the date on the publications? I'll bet a lot of money they were all written on April 1st!

As others have said, I would expect a new movement in the Sub. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

OMG, no; I've always wanted one. I guess I'll have to get a Viper instead.
It's good to know the "Still" ones are discontinued and will be replaced with ones that aren't still but have movement. Who would wear a still watch anyway. The only good news is that they don't need servicing too often. |

As if you can get them simply by walking into an AD?! They are already discontinued!

This will never happen, but this year could be the year for a few tweaks, new movement, thinner lugs, and who knows, a SS sunburst blue dial/bezel.

As long as Rolex exists, so will the SS Sub.
Tweeks and new movement for sure at some point. |

I've been saying this for months. The writing is on the wall. Rolex is going upscale, and the frumpy entry model is a goner. That's why the YM was upgraded first.

A few laughed at the idea they would discontinue the 116710LN and then they did do it. Seems unlikely but never say never.
Will be replaced by the 126610 Purple bezel with pink dial and Jubilee bracelet. |

The reference will be updated like the gmt sooner than later.
Maybe an additional offering...out with the green and in with other dial in steel?

key words "read a bunch of things online"
Rolex sells a ton of SS Subs, no way they disappear. They will put the 3255 movement in, modify the case and bezel. ..pick two of those. |
