Hey fellow TRF members,

I love the design, functionality, concept and execution of this beauty!

Feel free to share any insights.

Thank you all!

I am in the camp of if you like it, get it. It is your wrist and your watch. Everyone has their own opinion on what they like and what their taste is.

I think the TT Sky-D is a great bargain in the Rolex market. You can usually find them in dealers and can possibly negotiate a discount. If not, there are plenty of trusted sellers here that have them for MSRP or around there. And it is Rolex's most impressive caliber and an annual calendar to boot.

Well said! And IMHO combo between black, gold and steel is gorgeous! If you think the same just do not hesitate.

This piece has really grown on me and is now on my radar. My only concern is size for my 6.75” wrist?? Still on the fence on which color dial I prefer...

Honestly, give it a try, I did and it wears nicely, love the weight and presence on the wrist. Unfortunately, just wasn't the configuration I wanted, so didn't pull the trigger.

If you like the functionality then this is a great choice, I prefer the same set up but on the SD43, really liking the TT bracelet.

I would like to have a second time zone as I travel a fair bit for work.

And it would very nice to add an annual calendar complication to my collection at the same time.

I have seen the TT with the Champagne dial. It is quite an eyeful and although the black dial is IMO more subtle, it's a big watch and the gold bezel is really attention grabbing.

For me the WG bezel and SS case and bracelet works better. Black is my favourite dial for the SS and TT. If you like it, get it. It's a really clever yet conventional looking watch.

I put a deposit down with my AD for the TT black Sky Dweller. Getting on a list for a SS one was impossible. After more than a year waiting, with another UK price rise looming, I decided to go grey. When the time came to actually put the money down, I had to admit that it was the SS I really wanted.

That's my story. I can't tell you what you like. But I can tell that you have exceedingly good taste

Thanks, Harry! SS are virtually impossible though...

I have passed on the TT champagne dial and White dial as I have yet tried the black dial.

Fingers crossed one will swing by soon~

If you like it, go for it! The TT black dial is one of my favorite configurations on the SkyD. Looks sharp!

Almost impossible to get SS Skydweller from AD.
AD brought this out from the vault. Was able to haggle a discount....bought it. Never looked back for a stainless.

Super nice!

Where are you based if I may ask?

My AD is not offering any discount despite being a returning customer after purchasing a Datejust jist last September....

The correct term is "yea," as in yes!

I think it's a great looking watch.

It's my favorite. TT not much more than SS.

If you are a TT fan, the SkyD is one of the best values in watches. It is the most complicated watch Rolex makes. You get dual complications — annual calendar and GMT. You get a PM watch at potentially a discount.

My watch! TT SkyD did it for me, and I had the option SS in black or white as well. TT is seriously underrated, and the watch is by far the most functional in Rolex’s lineup. Do it.

I love the skydweller. If u like the two tone then go for it. I don’t care for it, but I love the SS.

I got mine to carry me over the long wait for the SS SkyD blue dial.

Very impressed with the dial material and timezone function.

Still want the SS version, but will keep the TT as well.

The white is nice too! Is this your daily wear?

Also wondering how I shall manage my rotation.
