Tudor bb gmt

Recently when I was in Switzerland I went to well known AD Boutique shop.

When I ask the sales person about the Tudor GMT stainless steel bracelet, he ask to hold on and will check for me. He came back with a smile and with a GMT in his hand and say...Mister...you are lucky today. We only have this last unit. The watch was not on display. I wonder why?

Sure is my lucky day. So he measured my wrist and cut off 4 links. I wore the watch....it looks BIG and still loose on my tiny wrist.

Now I don't know what to do with this watch.

Would appreciate your comments.

I have got to say, my usual max size is 40mm for a watch. I do have a GMT tudor, and it is the exception. Yet it is bigger than I usually like, a little heavier too, but the watch itself is dead gorgeous, super accurate and very well balanced overall which makes the size (to me) a non issue. It is one of the watch I have worn the most the past 2 years.
If it's too loose, you can still remove another link... or you can always sell it.

I had a hard time getting used to my Tudor GMT that I got January last year. I kept thinking it looked too big on my small wrist. Also it doesn’t have half links which sucks because I am right between sizes even with adjustments on buckle. I eventually gave it to my son, but funny thing is his wrist is smaller than mine and it looks great on him. Now I’m thinking even though I thought it looked too big on me, from everyone else’s perspective it looks fine.

Wear it for awhile. I love mine but it took a little while to have that happen.

I posted a reply but I must have done something wrong because it’s not showing up so posting again. If duplicate than disregard.
I got a Tudor GMT last January. I just couldn’t get comfortable with it because I thought it looked too large on smaller wrist being more slab sided. I also couldn’t get a comfortable fit because it has no half links and even with adjustments on the buckle I am between sizes. Eventually I gave it to my son but the funny thing is it looks great on him even though his wrist is smaller than mine. He loves the watch (lucky boy) and wears it every day. I’m thinking even though I thought it looked too big on me it probably looked just as good on me from everyone else’s perspective. As for the half links, maybe Tudor will eventually start making them for the black bays.

I got my Tudor GMT last January and wore it for months. I just couldn’t get comfortable with it. I thought it looked too big for my smaller wrist being more slab sided, not as bad as a regular black bay but definitely more so than a Rolex sub for example. Also it didn’t have half links so I couldn’t get it to be completely comfortable because I was between sizes even with adjustments on the buckle. Eventually I gave it to my son who happily took it and wears it all the time, lucky boy. Funny thing is his wrist is smaller than mine and it looks great on him. I’m thinking from everyone else’s perspective it probably looked just as great when I wore it and it was all in my head. Maybe one day Tudor will make a half link and then I will revisit wearing aTudor GMT again, if I ever get it back from my son.

You could always try the OEM fabric or leather straps, let alone any number of aftermarket options (Erika’s, Toxic NATO, etc).

I’d actually be curious to hear how current Tudor GMT owners feel about the bracelet versus strap options with regard to comfort.

I got a vanguard rubber strap for the Tudor GMT, looked good and was comfortable but still preferred the bracelet even though fit for me was not perfect. Was even looking into a replacement bracelet like from strapcode or a Pelagos bracelet before giving it to my son.

I believe moderators may review your first few posts. Unfortunately there are enough trolls, etc. that cause this.

Edit: I mean anyone's first few posts, not yours in particular. I think the moderators review to prevent trolling and prevent issues. That could cause a delay in the posts appearing.

Unfortunately, I know what it is like to buy a watch I like only to realize the size is not ideal for me. I hope your son enjoys it.

Hoaky picture, but didn’t start becoming a nut taking pictures of watches till just recently after I gave the Tudor away to my son. What a weird obsession we all have.. On my vacation to Korea.

First of all I would like to apologize for messing up this thread. I just loaded tapatalk and I connected it to my Rolex forums and it seemed so much easier to access and participate in the discussions. Then I saw this thread about Tudor GMT and thought I could help. Unfortunately it takes forever for a post on tapatalk to load on the forum and I kept thinking I must be doing something wrong because it wouldn’t show up after posting so I would rewrite. I posted that last picture of me wearing my Tudor GMT on vacation 9:46 Florida time on tapatalk and it just showed up 10:05 almost 20 min after posting on Rolex forums. I am writing this post on the actual Rolex forums web site so it should show up right away.

Bucherer on Bahnhofstrasse? I got my BB58 from them earlier in January. Any pictures of it on the wrist?
