Until I go to bed, I’m always wearing a watch. Unless I take it off to do something that may cause harm...turn a wrench, etc....

Yes 2 nice watches and 1 beater. Worn in rotation for whatever I am into for the day. Most days 2 watches see my wrist so no winders here. The third beater is a atomic solar watch.

I wear one of my watches 24x7. I only take it off while having a shower to avoid soap residue build up in the bracelet or leather strap.

When I purchased my 5513 I didn't take it off my wrist for 6 years. Once in a while in the Shower I would take a Finger Nail brush and scrub it with Soap. I slept on my stomach and after six years or so I just got tired seeing the Sub impression on my Face when I shaved. So I started taking it off at night. But, I wore it every day for almost 50 years. I stopped wearing it when a friend proclaimed one day. "A Rolex will not Float". He was Wind Surfing and made quick turn of the Wrist and "Blub". He called a buddy with a Metal Detector and searched for five hours and never found it. I did not wear it again until I had the Bracelet and Pins replaced. I now check those regularly !

I take off any watch before sleep.
Other than that, I don’t take off whatever watch is on rotation for typical activities (work/gym/steam room/diving/snowboard/surfing/USPSA). I do put it in the pocket if I know I am about to do something that is guaranteed to cause unnecessary damage to the watch. Like commando crawling through dirt. |

I rarely take my watch off.
I've been wearing a P01 (I Love This Watch!) for a few months and the only reason I take it off is to avoid getting it soaked because of the leather. I'll keep it on in the rain or washing my hands but I'll switch to my BLNR if I'm going to the beach/pool. If Tudor releases an all rubber strap for it I'll definitely purchase one! |

I take my watch off to sleep and shower. Other than that there is almost always a good mechanical piece on my wrist. One one exception is that I always wear an old beater with a quartz movement when I play golf.

I find it strange that you guys will wear the watch 24/7 incl sleep but take it off for bath/shower.
If my watch (not a leather strap) needs a clean, I will wear it into the shower and wash it at the same time as myself. If it's hot country and I have been sweating, this will be daily. Back to the original question, I will wear a watch (suitable for the occassion, my collection starts at G-Shocks....) always except when sleeping. Only time I will take it off, is if there is risk of damage or it getting in the way.
