Better combo, BLRO and SubC or BLRO and Explorer I?

Which do you think is the better date - no date combo and why?

126710BLRO + 214270 Explorer

Or

126710BLRO + 114060 Sub ND?

Explorer wears too small for me so I'd pick SubC

Get rid of your 214270. She doesn't deserve you.

Even as a dude with an 8" wrist, I can't resist the Explorer. The Sub is fantastic but I'd pick the Explorer every time. Just feel more drawn to it.

BLRO + Explorer is the better combo. The Exp is a better dress watch the the ND Sub and the BLRO is the better sports watch.

I prefer the BLRO and the Submariner combination. The submariner has the Glide lock clasp and wears better for me. I like the ceramic bezel and case size also.

This ^^^

I own combo 2 and love both. The Submariner glidelock is so nice to have as is the timing bezel which I find quite useful in my daily routine.

The Explorer combo probably makes more sense and adds more versatility

I am not a fan of the Explorer so I would go with the GMT and Sub combo

Sub > Exp.
Plus, I think a Sub is the best compliment to a GMT. Nothing against the Exp though.

Constantly amazed at how much love the Explorer gets around here given how plain it is. That might be the beauty of it and I can appreciate that aspect, but I'd vote Sub every time.

BLRO and SubC is combo I chose, but the Explorer is the bees knees as well!!

Black ceramic bezel on the Sub is just so visually pleasing to me for some reason, thats why sir .

Def x1. The other combo is just too much beefcake and shouts: ‘look at me, I have 2 big rolexes!’

I vote for the BLRO + SUBC, although I own and love the 214270. With the BLRO + SUBC you have the option to swap bracelet if you are in the mood to have the oyster on a GMT. I’ve done that with my 216270BLNR and I think it’s the best of both worlds. BLRO dressy on the jubilee and sporty on the oyster. Here are some pics.

I forgot to mention the GlideLock on the SubC bracelet is the best invention since sliced bread. I can adjust the fit on the fly when the wrist expand due to weather or activities. Enjoy your watches in good health OP.
