It's hard to tell from the pic. I'll say there are some good quality aftermarket bracelets out there, and there are some not so good. Some of the better ones have solid links and made of 316L Stainless Steel. Some of the forum members may frown upon having one, but there is nothing wrong with having an aftermarket bracelet, as long as your not trying to pass it off as a Rolex bracelet.

Looks like your enjoying it, which is what matters!

Brian, do you know a good online source for a quality Nato band?
Thanks.

Jackoo,

Can you post a pic of how it fits near the case? Wondering how is the gaps, etc.

I'm interested in an aftermarket that I can remove a permanent link from and don't want to do it to my oem one.

Seems wrong to have a Rolex on a non-Rolex bracelet unless it is a Nato or one of the other 'sport' straps out there.

X2, I'd rather see a Rolex Sub with a GMT II or Daytona bracelet.

Bah! All you Rolex purists!

Be honest... how much does this drive you crazy??

Keep in mind it is 100% Rolex parts.

I just don't care for the dress band on a sports watch. The fact that it's aftermarket probably isn't helping that either and the term "frankenwatch" comes to mind if I'm to be honest. If it floats your boat, then who cares what I think... but you asked

Your could order your Sub from Rolex with one of these Tropic straps as a less coastly option to the oyster bracelet back in the 70's. Here is a link to one for sale http://www.network54.com/Forum/17022...rforated+black

If you lost your watch because of your aftermarket bracelet, would you still feel ok with the bracelet? I have had smiliar bands, so get by(as I told myself) until I could afford a real Rolex band......they have failed; luckily I was at home when it happened. My watch is worth more to me than the bracelet, and I can't put my trust in the weakest link if it will cost me thousands.
