16014 date turning at 8:30 p.m.
What did I do to screw this up, and how do I get it back to turning @ midnight?
Any help given beyond taking it to a watchmaker to pull the hands and reset would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! |

Bad date jumper I’m guessing.

If this is recent, do you know, really know, when it changed before. I think it likely that it has been changing at 8:30 am, and you have only changed it by 12 hours so now see an 8:30 pm change? However, a hard knock could spin the hands on their posts, which is somewhat unusual, but not unheard of Typically the hands are only a visual representation of what is going on behind the dial, the date change is not independently adjustable. The fix really is taking the hands off and moving them the 3 1/2 hours around

At the very least, the hands need to be adjusted. Possibly there is also another problem.
