April Fools snacks

We created a snack appropriate for today -- mini burgers. Except, these burgers are made from Nilla wafers, York peppermint patties, a little apricot jam, and sesame seeds... (and my son has the goofiest look on his face! )

mmmm! Burgers for dessert! Very cute! How'd you get the seeds to stick?

I see you are a smart Target shopper, too.

And I see that your children are gorgeous and smart and fun and the best kiddos ever!

Warm up a little apricot jam and apply a very light coat to the top of the burger. This not only gives the buns a nice sheen and yummy taste, it also allows the seeds to stick.

Yep, I love Target.

That's the look of "God mum, me and sister are both wearing our Saint Ann hoodies and next thing I know you are going to pinch my cheek like old grandmum.

Here's a trick - place a patty on a cookie, and warm it in the oven for a minute or two. Then, take it out and put on the other cookie. Otherwise, they'll never stick together!
