Vintage Rolex rebberg movement
Hey guys,
I am looking for some expert opinion on this particular kind of vintage Rolex(See the pics). The movement is a Rebberg movement which was made in early 20th century, the watch has been converted from an antique to a modern day wrist watch. What is your opinion on it. Thanks Rahul |

Is this something that you own, or are you considering buying it?

Unfortunately,, the only thing Rolex is the movement which doesnt have much value at all. It is a novelty piece with about 90% fake and aftermarket parts. If you like it then buy it. Hopefully it isnt expensive.

Novel concept, but I feel like the watch has lost it's soul. I like restored vintage watches (even service dials), but I feel this is something different. It's nice to see the Aegler movement in the back but the crown and dial aren't doing it for me, especially seeing as the printing on the dial is very poor. Sorry!

Seems the original dial was too small to use it in this project

Wouldn't the movement be worth like a lot of money?
