Datejust Availability Help

Hello,

I am desperate to find a steel Datejust 41, rhodium dial, smooth bezel with Jubilee bracelet. I have been calling/looking in my local stores (East Coast) for over a year, but no luck. All of the ADs are saying they can’t order and I have to just hope to get lucky and one comes in.

Reaching out to this forum. Has anybody seen this watch in their local stores?

Thanks,
EC

Just buy it pre-owned/new from a grey dealer. Waiting years for watches (especially a datejust) is beyond me I’ve owned a lot of watches and only bought one from an AD as they had it in the back when I walked in. I’ve been on one list for an example for over two years for a ss submariner date. I’ve bought two in that time and actually ended up costing me less before this years price increase.

Thats the best advise imho too. Many others are clamouring to get the models if only to flip or photograph the logo. So either get lucky in an AD globally, or buy second hand grey is the reality for past year or two.

Thanks for your suggestions. I had seen a few on the grey market over the year, but was holding out hope to buy one from an AD. Probably stupid as I don’t plan to sell, but I wanted my name attached to the warranty.

It shouldn’t be the most difficult model to get if you are hell bent on getting it from an AD. Visit 3/4 however many are in your range and get your name down you’ll get it sooner or later. However with the way things are at the moment...

Comes down to how long you’re happy to wait.

It's not stupid at all.

I'm a bit surprised that this is that hard to get. But I'm not in the market for it. If you can wait, maybe give it a bit more time and see how the dynamics play out in the next couple of weeks.

But as others have said, if you want it now, you can get it grey and have it right away.

Good luck either way.

Trusted Sellers here on forum.
Warranty is on watch, name on card doesn’t matter.

Mine was sat in the window when I bought it in Dec 2018. There were lots of variations to choose from, but I decided on the combination you want.

At that time DJ41 were still easy to buy from the AD.

Pic was when I tried it on in the shop and then decided to buy it.

Glad I did.

Be patient and buy from AD. You will have your name on the card, and purchase history in case you need it in the future.
