Your only Rolex watch from your collection?
Hello,
I have been giving a lot of thought to my Watch collection with the extra time I have had the past few months and I would like to hear your thoughts on which Rolex watch you would select from your collection to be your only watch. For me, I have narrowed it to down my Sub Date and the BLRO. Be well :+) |

Value aside, I think the 116710LN is the most versatile watch Rolex have ever made and the one I wold have to keep.

in a fictional world, I’d probably keep my Explorer II. If I had the GMT Master II, I’d probably choose it instead, but I’m still waiting on that one. For sentimental reasons though, in reality, if I had to sell all but one, I’d have to keep my YM because it was the first one - it will always be the most special.

I have seven right now and thinking about this before I always came up confused but still thinking I'm pretty sure it would be my 16710 which is one of two 5 dgt pieces I have. The second keeper would be the 14060m. There's just something about the 5 dgts that seem more special to me after going around and around putting my Rolex collection together.

Isn’t that like choosing your favourite child?
I’d keep the skydweller. Stainless and white gold with black dial. |

I'd choose a sunburst Subc, so either LVc or Blue yg, I think Rolex make the best range of sunbursts there are and the green is esp highly unique and unmatched.

I had my LVc for a few years before buying my second Rolex so I know it is great as a daily wearer. It would be my choice for sure - although my YM42mm would come in a close second and has probably had more wrist time during lockdown.

I am down to just one Rolex, the SD43. Although i am considering a birth year 1675 (1968).
