First Tudor Purchase !!!

Hi guys,

It was about a year ago that I bought my OP and have had the itch to add to the collection for the last few months. Wasn't sure what it would be, but knew I had another purchase in the near future. I looked at the Tudor GMT a while back, looked at IWC and was really close to pulling the trigger on a Moon Watch.

A few days back I started seeing more and more about the new Tudor release and I started getting excited. I've been on the lookout for the original 58, but never got to see one. I figured that it couldn't hurt to reach out about the 58 Blue. Got a quick response that my AD would let me know.

Today I would be lying if I wasn't on the edge of my seat waiting for "the call". Shortly after lunch my phone rang and it was my AD saying "Did you check your email?!?!". Sure enough, I was in luck and there it was, the Blue 58 and it was mine.

Very excited to add this one to my collection. Great looking watch. I know there are many opinions out there about it, but for me its a winner! Thanks Anthony!

Phil

So cool these can be snagged on the day of the release. I guess the down side is the leaked photos.

Hey Anthony Congrats!! First live wrist shot I've seen and it looks sweet. I have a BB41 blue eta and a Ranger as far as the Tudor brand goes so I'm happy. It looks like Tudor has a winner this year with just the right tweek the 58 needed. Enjoy!!...

I’m going to view one at my local AD, whom I purchased a blue Breitling SuperOcean from back in Feb. Great watch, but if the BB58 Blue was available then it would’ve been no contest!

Almost hoping I won’t like it so I won’t rue my decision to buy when I did!

Great pick up OP!

Very nice pickup! Looks great!

In non-sunlight, does the blue appear a lot darker? Or does it have that lighter blue all around?

The blue hue Tudor have chosen for this model is just FANTASTIC. I would call it BlueJeans. Tudor is so good in picking colors really, take for example the ones they used on their GMT. Also this model looks beautiful on all configurations.
Congratulations.
