Do you prefer this or your blue DJll? Since I have gotten the SD43 nothing else has really hit my wrist. Including my hulk. At first I had to get used to it. Now all my other watches seen to small. Lol

If I had to pick one or the other it would definitely be the SD43. But I love the DJII as well. They live well together. The DJ is my work and dressy watch and the SD my sport watch, so they compliment each other as far as I'm concerned

I also prefer the SD43 to the sub and the DJll to the DJ41/DJ36. Great minds think alike lol

Yep, I agree. A shame because I like this edition.

But there's plenty of other options

Probably because of the angles, light, etc.

For a while I didn’t get why people would say “6 digit sub is Chonk square” but now that I have them both side by side, I understand why.

Wrist fatigue (as you can see, my arm had some surgery in the past) is a real thing for me, and while the weight isn’t the main issue, I am afraid the low surface area will just make the SD43 impossible for me to wear.

A shame because I really enjoy it.

Proportions of the SD make it look smaller than it really is. The opposite happens with the the sub super-case. Rolex design department is so clever playing those visual games.
Regarding wearability, A smaller case will look too small and a larger case will look too large compared to what we’ve been already wearing. Once our eyes adapt, the new watch will suddenly stop looking too big or too small and the watch will become part of the wrist.

Agree with ou, just like with some cars that appear quite compact from the outside, only to reveal they are roomier once you get in.

I think the sub almost looks too big as well. Maybe 36mm is your sweet spot. I find the sd43 and my subs wear similar other then the SD43 is taller.

Great watch, and not too big on my 6.75 wrist .... just way too heavy. Wore one for a weekend and flipped it because of wrist fatigue.

Jealous of guys who can pull it off, because it's a stunning design, not just the cool dial, but the curved, tapered case lugs. Definitely prefer it over the Sub-C.
