Well I got a YMII that I thought you guys would find interesting as it transforms from Scuffed to Buffed. Enjoy

Beautiful work Dalton, and I'll bet those bezels aren't easy to work on and restore the original finish.

yup. Platinum. For the record, my mentor, Beau is the true Master. He's taught me well. As long as scratches are not deep, most bezels can be fully restored.

This particular piece took 4 hours but with many interruptions along the way. The hardest part is the bezelof course. I figured JJ and Richard would enjoy this one.

Great job. How do you separate the matt finish from the mirror finish while buffing?

Well I sported the watch for only 2 days and then a friend hounded me for hours so I sold it. I want Platinum again. I even sold my beater car for the financing of this watch. The quest is on again. Car or watch.

Depends on what kind of car?

Good to see people wear the YMII like a tool watch it is.

Absolutely stunning result, hadn't seen this thread without the bump!

I might as well ask, has anyone had any experience getting a a Pt YM bezel cleaned up at an RSC during service? The ADs I've spoken about it with have come up with a variety of answers, but the most common one is that it would be sent to Geneva, pretty much at the same cost as a new bezel insert.
