Reporting flippers?
Hi guys, if you see a local individual selling a brand new sports model on Facebook with one of the photos showing the local AD name in the warranty card. Would you tell the AD? Given you have purchased in this AD before and will most likely continue purchasing there in the future.
Not trying to be an ass or mind other people's business but these flippers are creating a hard time for people that really want to purchase a watch to wear and not make a quick buck. |

In your particular set of circumstances, I would agree with salmanhamid. Its about time someone put these flippers in their place.

Karma generally catches up with people without assistance I think. I'd be surprised in a small town on a watch oriented page, that the original AD wouldn't see it and black list the guy.

AD doesn’t care or doesn’t want to know. I purchased grey and asked the AD whether they could verify the watch came from them (to know it’s legit). Sales manager wasn’t interested (didn’t want to see the card) [/U]and said take it to Rolex.

I don’t think the AD will care. If they sold a hyped up watch to someone they probably had a good reason to do so. So if one of their better customers is a flipper do you think they’ll stop selling to that person?
You can say that flippers are the cause of the problem but one could just as easily argue that it’s the buyers that are really creating the problem. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
