This post references my earlier Swing and A Miss thread.

Got the new dial and it was time to dig in.

The goal was to improve on earlier mod attempts on this TST conversion that never seemed to hit the mark. So thought I'd throw these elements together to see how they'd work. Pretty happy with the results.

You can see the difference between the blue dials, the darker blue purchased to better match the new sapphire bezel. I decided on the classic Mercedes hand set w/ lightning bolt second for the same reason, the lume matched the bezel and the polished silver matched the indie surrounds.

First, make sure to protect the dial to avoid another mishap.

Once the hands are on it's time to assemble.

The LCBI sapphire Pepsi insert adds an interesting character and glows like crazy. Plus the lume is protected under the sapphire. Really enjoying the RollBall bracelet and it's 70's retro vibe. In fact, recent bracelet changes and mods have turned these back benchers into rotation players.

Wow.

What's truly amazing, is that this watch it is better looking than 90% of <1000 usd watches (and even above). I love how versatile the SKX is.
