Pam 359 noisy winding rotor. Need advice
Hey guys
I have 359 that’s around 4 years old. Purchased new from a well know dealer here on the forum. I love this watch and wear it in rotation probably around 70% of the time. In the last year I’ve noticed the rotor getting progressively louder, kind of a metallic swishing sound. It still keeps excellent time at around +3 sec per day. Is this a known issue with the p9000 movement. Anyone else experience this? It really doesn’t bother me at all. But definitely all is not well inside. I guess my question is, should I stop wearing it and take it to an AD right away? Would it be better to deal with Panerai direct? These do have a 5 year warranty, correct? Or should I just wear it and worry about it as I get closer to warranty expiration. Thanks |

I just read that there is only a 2 year warranty. Guess I’m out of luck. I suppose it will need a full service?

Panerai warranty is eight years as i recall when you register it on their website. The rotor noise may be normal, yet hard to tell without being there in person to hear it.

My old 392 with a P5000 was noisy as hell right out the gate. I can't really offer any insight as to whether yours may have an issue though.
