First Unexpected Rolex

Hi Everyone,

Been a long time admirer of this forum. But this is my first post.

I have had my name on several waiting lists for the past 2 years or so for a Submariner date - with no luck.

I was in centre of London at the weekend (Friday) and just happened to pop into an AD to see what they had. I tried on a Rolex Deepsea that they had in the window. It was too large for me. Anyway I left my details with the AD.

Tuesday mid-morning I get a phone call to say they had a Sea Dweller 126600 come in if I wanted to come in and see that.

I loved it and the rest is history. Think I am still in a state of shock. Hoping this will be the first of many (if my wife allows ).

(I did try posting a photo but the forum wont allow.

Sounds like a great choice.

Anybody can post photos as an attachment as long as it meets the size criteria.

Fantastic watch. You can wear that for many decades to come! I love hearing about a “win” like this. I’m glad it worked out for you!

And welcome to the club - it can be habit forming.
