Rolex datejust 41 value
I’m planning on pulling the trigger on a 126334 datejust 41 blue dial with fluted bezel and jubilee braclet and I’m wondering if the value will hold well over the next 9 months or so. I don’t keep my watches for every long and I often flip them within a year. I know it is a hot watch now and hard to find but will it hold its value months from now?

I’m sure many will tell you that you shouldn’t buy a watch as an investment and they’d be right generally. That being said my personal experience is in buying an SS Wimbledon dial in July 2019. I got it below retail from a grey dealer and now it is listing for higher than what I paid. Could be the Rolex price increase over the last 12 months or that its difficult to get I don’t know but I’m confident that if I listed it now as a pre owned piece with B&Ps I‘d get back at least what I paid for it. Make of that what you will. IMHO you should get the watch cos you really love it then resale value doesn’t ever come into it.

The buyers of these watches have probably had consistent income through the Covid outbreak. Some stock buyers who were shrewd bought stocks that heated up during the Covid period. When they sell , they buy assets and luxury goods. The Rolex supply will continue to be less than the demand. Over the next 12 months, Value of your DJ41 should maintain itself and may even increase if Rolex restricts supply. My no cost opinion.
