Icon12 Photoshop of blue Sub Date + white Explorer

Adding to the speculation fun....Saw this photoshop on IG. Both are pretty nice.

Gotta agree. White explorer is not for me.

A sub with blue dial and bezel such as the one above in white gold would do it for me.

If it’s SS it will just become another unobtainable piece. At least a $35k price tag would keep most of us away.

Love the EXP, but wish they didn’t make the font so large. Much prefer the font scale/understatement on the OP39, but love the 3-6-9 white dial. Can’t have it all I guess.

I really doubt that Rolex will go blue dial on the ss Sub,Sub/Date

Maybe a darker blue WG Sub/Date .If so,I hope its a sunburt dial and not a flat dark blue .
Then they have to get the bezel insert colour right on the darker blue to match the dial .
I think it will be similar to the DJ41/ss SkyD blue dials .

Sorry cannot see the point in posting any photoshop watches on forum as I thought this forum only dealt in true factual Rolex watches, and they do say beauty is in the eyes of the beholder .

Just some harmless (IMHO) speculation about September 1’s announcement.

The trouble with speculation especially with some of today's members, once they see it on the net in there eyes it becomes a reality.

Blue Sub would be fantastic.

That particular white Explorer does not look good IMO.

I'm with you on that but that's maybe too close to the JC DSSD...

In order not to upset current SMURF owners, if Rolex does decide to use blue in the Sub, I think this is what they'll do - Blue for the bezel only, and Black dial. If the SMURF gets discontinued, you could see blue bezel and dial, but I think you would need one more distinct feature to differentiate it from the SMURF (even more so than the PCL) ... I just don't know what that would be.

Blue Sub would be interesting, even if I would no buy one. I only have the 114060. Before a blue Sub, I'd want a Datejust and a GMT. Then a Speedmaster. And maybe a Grand Seiko.

The blues on that IG photoshop are terrible; the bezel is a nice true blue, the face is not the same. Then again, my eyes are getting old.

As far as the white dial for the Explorer/214270 I dont see that happening. Has there ever been a white dial on that model ever? I dont believe so. So I just dont see Rolex changing it.

The Explorer II, 16570, 216570 has always been in both so I get that but the 14270/214270 has always been black. I believe it will stay that way. At least I hope so. Too much similarity to the 39 mm OP. Why would Rolex have a 39 mm white dial Oyster Perpetual and a white dial 39 mm Rolex Explorer??

Great find but I was referring to more than a 1 of 1. Like ever made with mass production but I DO get what you were doing, trying to find one. Thank you for finding that.

I still just dont see Rolex doing it. Especially with the recent edition of the 39 mm OP. Granted 1 has a flat bezel and the other rounded. I guess there would also be 2 different shades of white. But again to much similarities. Who knows? Guess we will just have to wait and see

i'm sure i'm probably in the minority, but i would melt if they came out with a crimson (sunburst efffect) red submariner with matching bezel insert in stainless steel. would look super-sharp.
