3 watches for 3 months, at least one a Rolex
All, for some interesting reasons, I will be away from home for the next 3 months. I can take 3 watches from my collection. At least one should be a Rolex. I will be in the field, in the office, and (of course!) working from home. If you could only choose 3 from below...which would they be and why?

Skx007,
The Lange dress watch (not familiar with references) And the platinum Daydate I would actually take the skx007 as a fourth personally, I rotate my watches a lot and this one doesn’t leave rotation it gets worn a lot. Last edited by JSolution; 29 August 2020 at 09:57 AM.. Reason: . |

I'd bring just the SKX009 unless additional "presence" is required

You’re impressive collection makes this a very difficult choice.
I’d go Explorer, Speedy and any of the GS. |

You're going to be working from home while away from home for three months?
I would take the GS, the SKX, and the 15270.

Give it looks like you clearly love dress watches with leather straps - I’d go with one Rolex on bracelet that is more sporty and two dress watches with leather straps. Of the two dress watches with leather strap, one I’d pick higher end so you don’t miss it, and one I’d pick for the usual days.
So with that said: - For Rolex: Pepsi (even though it’s white gold, no one will know unless they’re a WIS). I wouldn’t go with the SD cause those are too thick to wear all the time - Patek - GS (or Speedmaster or explorer) |

Thanks everybody!
Some have said “take the Lange” or “take the Patek,” so for info, There are two Langes: a Lange 1 and a 1815 up/down. There are two Patek: a 3940j and a 5940g. Also not shown is a 5320g. There three GS: a and SBGY003, SBGJ219 and a SBGW231 There are two “Pepsi”: 16710 and 126719 My work takes me from the remote, dirty and dusty front lines of industry, to high-level meetings with senior officials in public and private institutions. And of course...a million Zoom and Skype calls :) |

You'll know when it's time to leave as you won't be able to leave the ones you want behind. I'd not ask strangers to make such a personal decision for you. Nice collection! Bon voyage!!!

You have my two favorite Grand Seiko's! The SBGW231 and the SBGJ219. I just saw the SBGJ219 in person and my brother and I were both mesmerized. Nicely done.
I'd go: Pepsi Patek 5940g Grand Seiko SBGW231 In fact that would be a stunning collection! |

I noticed this is an old thread, but based on him traveling, working in the office and in the field, I would have taken the white dial ALS 1815 up / down, the modern GMT Pepsi, the and G Shock.
