Had no idea about the price! That really takes the luster away unless it's heavily discounted. A plethora of epic LE openworked options at that price point.

Looks like 50 blue ones for global boutiques and then 50 black ones but latter only for Japan.

Still fascinates me how much demand there is in Japan that they can regularly release >$200k LEs into that market and have everything sucked up

More or less Yoshida has a strong foothold there. And they push AP really, really, really hard.

Lots of other Tourbillons I'd rather have for $260k USD.

Like ?

It's a flying tourbillon + skeleton ! seems pretty reasonable i feel considering a normal tourbillon from AP already costing 160k+ CHF

I like that they use both a minute and hour register. On other AP tourbillon chronos they use both a 60 second tourbillon and a small seconds register which I always found a bit redundant.

This just proves the CODE can look amazing. We just need a redesign on these other dials and a new numeric front.

I think these look great! If given the choice, I'd pick the black version.

That’s one of the best looking TT watches I’ve ever seen.

awesome, but price point and limited to 100 pieces makes it another inaccessible watch - glad that I will soon see the 29 year old manager of Inter wear it - oh how I'd wish my daddy was a billionaire :)

Good move for AP to really expand into the Code line. This release looks marvellous.

Very impressive pieces which further prove that the issue with the Code line is just the dial design.

Well if you're going to dress it up, might as well spent a mini-house to do it!

And then an instant 100k minimum depreciation!

I do like how this watch fills in a big of the negative empty spaces of the regular tourbillon version. Much better design wise. If only this was 95k though!

That’s definitely the dream but wishes aside, the pricing is consistent with APs strategy.

This is a modest improvement at this pricing level because previous tourbillon chronographs were not flybacks (correct me if I’m wrong) whereas this one is and has a flying tourbillon as well.

Tourbillons = $125k-$225k. Lower end is non skeleton SS RO or CODE and higher end of pricing is skeletonised in PM. Concept, non skeletonised PM and ceramic sit somewhere in between

Tourbillon Chronograph = $250k - $350k. Lower end is CODE, higher end is the Concept and ROO / RO in between
