JCrew and Timex
JCrew and Timex partnering with a pretty cool looking military watch... Might be worth getting one of these just to have... Kind of Retro.

I like the looks of the watch but two things bother me about it. 1) It's a quartz, and 2) The "distressed" face. I'd rather go with a Hamilton Khaki if I was looking for something of this genre.

A third thing to take into consideration.... TIMEX. Just buy a junk one and take it apart and you will see why NOT to buy one.
Here is a REAL Elgin military for the USA Army issue. This is a great watch for the price. http://cgi.ebay.com/VINTAGE-ELGIN-ST...3A1%7C294%3A50 And another http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Elgin-Mi...3A1%7C294%3A50 And so on: http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Elgin-Mi...3A1%7C294%3A50 and,,, http://cgi.ebay.com/elgin-military-O...3A1%7C294%3A50 And... http://cgi.ebay.com/Elgin-15j-WWII-M...3A1%7C294%3A50 And this very nice one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ELGIN-MILITARY-W...3A1%7C294%3A50 Why buy a new POS when quality is at your fingers... you can wear and enjoy these and when you are done sell them for at or more than what you pay! |
