Vintage restoration/service in Ontario, Canada
I just received my old 1016 back from service from one of the members here, Ashton Tracy. This watch was a MESS when I handed it to him - I fear a previous owner may have attempted to service it personally but had difficulty, being a chimpanzee, and consequently left the movement in an awful state. To say nothing of the crown, etc etc. Previously I'd had it basic-serviced here in Toronto but the work was unsatisfactory. Ashton fixed all that, the watch now looks and runs like it just came back from RSC (but without the shocking price or lengthy delays).
Canadian members, if you don't want to send your watch abroad for servicing and/or restoration, consider sending it to Ashton Tracy. Excellent work and I'm delighted; my next watch needing work will go to him. |

Sounds great! Nice to have someone close buy that will service Rolex that isn't RSC. Thank you for your recommendation.
