Kermit or Starbucks?
Why would the new 126610LV be called anything but a Kermit? I kinda get Cermit but Starbucks makes zero sense.
Did the new Pepsi get a new name even though it had a ceramic bezel? If the 126610LV had a green starburst face wouldn't it be called the Hulk still? Black face Sub + Green bezel = Kermit End of story, lol. Honestly call it whatever you want, just adding my worthless 2 cents about the subject. Sent from my SM-G975W using Tapatalk |

Kermit is... search for it on their website. It is an indexed term.

Sorry I didn't know this topic would be controversial. Just thought it was a fun question, please delete the post if this is out of line with the forums rules.

The old one didn't have a ceramic bezel, this one does so those who like the nicknames need a new one. Its their game, they make the rules. Sent from my Motorola Bag Phone |

Here's a tip for all these grouchy responses. If you don't like a topic, don't click on it and certainly don't respond. Best was the one guy that commented on how many posts I had and wasted one on this topic. Sorry didn't get the memo that I needed to be active on the forum to ask a light hearted questions like this. Anyways glad to see a fellow Canadian on here. Sent from my SM-G975W using Tapatalk |

Some folks just can’t resist whining and complaining about threads they should really ignore and scroll past. Speaks volumes about their sense of discipline.
I think most people think of it as a Kermit — so it’s a Kermit. |

It is simply the 126610LV. The rest doesn't really interest me.

Hold on a second, they were thinking of calling this watch a Cermit or Starbucks. I hadn’t heard that yet.

The forum and the hobby is a place where both reference numbers and nicknames are tossed about equally. I personally like to know reference numbers of the watches I find interesting or wish to purchase. The irony in all of this discussion is you’re far more likely to hear AD sales associates use the nicknames than reference numbers. This perpetuates the slang use. As for your question, it’s being called “the new Kermit” most frequently.

Why would any of these watches have any nick name at all?? Pepsi, Coke, hulk, Batman all seems weird to me.

I think it's worth a real brawl deciding which cartoon/pet commercial names to call the watches. It's really important enough to get upset about and take up an entire new section of the forum!!!! Do you hear that mods? Let's create a new section just for these discussions!!!
OP, with an average of less than 20 post a year this is a really good use of one of your posts, not!!!! |
