Availability of RO divers
Hello all. Interested in the RO Offshore Diver #1570ST and similar models. Since AP boutiques are so far , what is the availability like? Hate to make a trip for nothing and I’m sure they don’t give much info over the phone.
Would the #15500St in white be in even higher demand? Thanks |

Availability of RO divers
I doubt you can just show up and buy a diver, most boutiques carry very little stock to sell.
Best to just keep in contact to continue show your interest but you should make the trip to the boutique to meet the staff even though they won’t have it to sell, shows more commitment. After that, I wouldn’t say the white diver would be too hard to acquire. The white 15500st will definitely be harder to get out of the two. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Availability of RO divers
I called the NYC boutique to buy a white dial with blue accents on sept 1ish and they told me if I put down 50% I could get it by the end of the year.
A week later I saw my favorite grey put a bnib up for sale. I bought it immediately and had it the next day. White dial 15500 definitely has a higher demand and is probably impossible to get in under a year from the boutique without history Diver and 15400/500 are a great combo btw

Thank you. AP bug hit me this year out of nowhere. The NYC boutique did call about a week after and offer the blue and yellow diver, but other than that I’m not really sure. In regards to price. I did pay full boat to the grey for bnib, so I’m sure I could have saved a bit with patience... but that’s a quality I admittedly lack. And, once it’s on the potential savings has been forgotten about. Get what you want, IMO, even if that means paying a little more. Best of luck

I've been offered a blue/white diver, blue/yellow diver and the black diver (all in stock) over the last year. Black diver at LV, blue/yellow at Singapore Orchard and the blue/white at Singapore MBS. That said, the most recent was 6 months ago, so it was before the most recent craziness.

Divers are readily available except the blue/white diver (IMO the best). Regardless, they don't really do well in the secondary market, go preowned and save major money off MSRP+sales tax. I wear the diver as more of a weekend watch, I don't think it has quite the wearability as the RO and would be hard to pull off with a suit.

Does the black dial have better lume than the white dial?

I believe it does. I spoke with an AP rep just last week about my lume and he said he’s had to explain to many white dial owners that the lume is harder to charge or see on the white dials. (Somethign along those lines)

Prior to making the drive, give them a call and schedule an appointment, so they know you're coming. Best of luck. |

Depends on location. SS sport models rare birds these days for AP PP ROLEX VC.
No. You cant walk into any location and grab a SS black diver. LOL. |

That isn't true, I walked into an AP store in Mexico City a few weeks back and was offered a black dial diver without mentioning my purchase experience or history with the brand. The divers command much lower demand than the SS RO bracelet models.

Divers are generally easier to buy than other "hot models". I bought mine early 2020 during peak of the covid season. At that time they had both blue and white in stock. I chose the white. It was my first AP purchase. Good luck. And I'm sure it's just based on luck if you have no previous purchasing history with the AD. Maybe that's just this part of the world though.
