He's had that watch for a long time. It can be seen in promo pics for Rocky III.

I'm surprised he's getting rid of the 1st Panerai that really made the brand go off; he started the whole craze and even though I'm out of Panerai now, that model just oozes cool.

I’m with you there. I feel like that one should never leave the collection.

I would have thought Panerai would want to buy it?

Great watch and history.

Love the video. Thanks for sharing. Interesting he's selling many RMs. He seems really excited about the watches so I don't understand why he's getting rid of them.

I have a feeling like a lot of us, when you reach a certain age, you begin to downsize your stuff.

And from the video it seems he doesn't wear any of them anymore.

And the fact that he acquired them for the characters in his movies doesn't mean that he had any huge desire to wear them afterwards. Especially the RMs.

I can't believe he's getting rid of his 'the Panerai' which resurrected the brand and gave it life. It should have been the last watch to get sold!

The guy has so many watches.
He has them all and then some.

The one to watch is going to be the ceramic skull. Whatever that price lands can affect all RM prices.
