Flipping a new Rolex for profit?
A not-so-hypothetical: if you had max of USD 15k to spend on a single Rolex at an AD today - with the intention of immediately flipping it - which models would you be shopping for? (Guessing...a blue Sky-Dweller?) Or would the drive-it-off-the-lot depreciation make this a risky business on any model? This would be part of a much larger purchase and I'm told that wait-listing should not be an issue.
And since this is my first post in a forum for Rolex enthusiasts (lest you think the worst of me), I do also plan to snag a turquoise OP and never take it off. After configuring about a hundred different Rolexes and not really falling head over heels with any of them, those new watch faces and the OP's classic styling finally got my pulse racing. Looking forward to joining the club! |

Definitely a two tone lady datejust, with diamonds and possibly a pink or purple face.

I’d recommend a TT datejust. One with diamonds if you can find it.
Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Flipping a new Rolex for profit?
You should just go grey and not bother playing that game with the AD. Probably save you money too in long run not having to buy all these watches you don’t want and selling at a loss.
If your looking to make a business out of this, every grey dealer is doing it already. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

You can’t go wrong flipping Ladies DateJust. I have heard of people doubling and even tripling their money on the resell market. Even better... they are readily available at ADs everywhere! So go and buy as many as you can possibly afford. Hell, take out a second mortgage or a personal loan if able and buy them all. Corner the market on Ladies DateJust’s my friend and you simply can not go wrong. You will thank me. Oh, and welcome to the club!!!

Definitely the Datejust 28mm. Extremely rare watch to see in public. Make sure it has diamonds. Hopefully pink dial if achievable.
Make sure you go in wearing some Supreme gear too. Will get some VIP treatment. |

There is more than likely an Invicta store somewhere in your neck of the woods...I stress that you pay them a visit

+1 on the lady DJ. I’d recommend you tell the AD you’re looking to flip, too, to see what they can do for you.

I think a Rolex moon-phase with a moon dial signed by Apollo 11 astronauts will go 5x when you walk out the door.
You could sell it to a Nigerian prince. |
