Watch insurance in the UK
Evening everyone,
I'm sure this question has been asked more than once on here but as insurance brokers change so do their prices. I picked up my deepsea a few months ago but due to travelling / work / not using the watch, I had not found insurance. I did get a quote from Affinity insurers just over a month ago and they were in the region of £300 a year and just under if I took a three year policy so I thought i'd get in touch with them when I was next home. Fast forward to today, the new sum of £613 was required if I wanted one year with them. My previous quote was void as I was 6 days over the 30 price promise. Can someone recommend an insurance that doesn't take the piss? Cheers |

insurance
I have great experience with Hiscox.
It is not only the cost; it is also how they deal with problems IF something happens. And that aspect is worth its weight in gold so to speak... |

I have my Datejust 41 and my Speedmaster listed on my house insurance, they are also insured away from the house.
Is it recommended to take out a specialist watch policy rather than add to house insurance? What are the benefits? |

For just one watch put it on your home insurance. Aviva and LV are pretty reasonable
