Any MBF horological machine owners?

I know these are kinda out there but curious if anyone’s got one of these? At the secondary market prices I’d be interested in one. There was a video with max busser saying they were designed to be able to be taken apart and fixed decades down the road which alleviates some concerns for me.

I don't have a horological machine, but just bought a Destination Moon for my son for Christmas. I tried a Flow Road on while I was there and it is a fantastic piece. The attention to detail, finish and quality on all of their pieces is wonderful. It's actually quite wearable for the size. I also asked about reliability and my AD says that their customer service is top notch.

Am sure the build is very serviceable, and so far have never heard a bad word about MBF. At some point hope to get one of their desk / table clocks.

That’s an awesome gift for your son. Was thinking about the smaller star fleet desk clock at half the price. I’ve always wanted an atmos but the Mbf or lepee are so cool.

We chose that one because he is an aerospace engineer and WIS, so it seemed like the perfect combination of his two passions.

The Starfleet Explorer is cool, but all of the MB&F/L'Epee 1839 offerings are fun and interesting. I'm sure I'll be picking up one for myself - I'm oddly attracted to the Arachnophobia

I currently own HM3 HM5 and LM Perpetual.

I can attest MB&F has the best after sales service.

If you interested to find out more, the link below is a great introduction to the collection.

have only heard mention of them once or twice (once on a Hodinkee segment -
the collector also had RM, Urwerk, DeBethune....)

not for me but I definitely appreciate them from an horological standpoint

Rebirthing this thread. Have to say that Sherman is amazing! Also saw the new music machine while in Vegas at the Wynn and it is, as your son said, "spectacular"

...plus this thread needs pics. Please add yours :)
